A well-known Israeli politician and parliament member has branded  Palestinians as terrorists, saying mothers of all Palestinians should also be killed during the ongoing Israeli assault on the besieged Gaza Strip, Daily Sabah reported.

Ayelet Shaked of the ultra-nationalist Jewish Home party called for the slaughter of Palestinian mothers who give birth to "little snakes."

"They have to die and their houses should be demolished so that they cannot bear any more terrorists," Shaked said, adding, "They are all our enemies and their blood should be on our hands. This also applies to the mothers of the dead terrorists.”

The remarks are considered as a call for genocide as she declared that all Palestinians are Israel's enemies and must be killed.

On Monday (July 7) Shaked quoted this on her Facebook page:

"Behind every terrorist stand dozens of men and women, without whom he could not engage in terrorism. They are all enemy combatants, and their blood shall be on all their heads. Now this also includes the mothers of the martyrs, who send them to hell with flowers and kisses. They should follow their sons, nothing would be more just. They should go, as should the physical homes in which they raised the snakes. Otherwise, more little snakes will be raised there."

The development comes as many officials from various countries have slammed Israel's  airstrikes on the Gaza Strip. The Turkish prime minister is the latest to condemn the offensive, accusing Israel of massacring the Palestinians.

Recep Tayyip Erdogan has lashed out at Israel, saying it is committing state terrorism against the Palestinians in the region. Speaking in parliament, he also questioned the world’s silence toward Tel Aviv’s ongoing atrocities.

Reacting to Shaked's remarks, the Turkish premier said Israel's policy in Gaza is no different than Hitler's mentality.

"An Israeli woman said Palestinian mothers should be killed, too. And she's a member of the Israeli parliament. What is the difference between this mentality and Hitler's?" Erdogan asked.

The developments come as the UN agency for Palestinian refugees has recently said women and children make up a sizeable number of Palestinian fatalities caused by Israeli attacks on the besieged region.

Ayelet Shaked represents the far-right Jewish Home party in the Knesset.

Illuminati Alert: Weird Al's New Music Video Blatantly References NWO, Extraterrestrials, Reptilian Shape-shifters

Jackson James
Musings for the Open-Minded

In support of his latest album of pop song parodies Mandatory Fun, "Weird Al" Yankovic has been uploading daily music videos to accompany the release of the album, the latest of which, a parody of Lorde's "Royals," blatantly features Illuminati imagery both visually and lyrically.

Yankovic is seen in his video for "FOIL" standing forebodingly at what can presumably be considered a satanic news desk (a possible reference to the fact that all major news outlets are operated by the same conclave of Archontic bloodline families) and reciting such phrases as "The Illuminati know that they are finally primed for world domination"while flanked on either side by the ubiquitous Illuminati symbol of the pyramid and All-Seeing Eye.

He goes on to cite draconian "New World Order" imagery in lyrics involving squadrons of military helicopters patrolling what is apparently the general civilian populace, armies of soldiers goose-stepping in the context of martial law, and even an allusion to the NSA's unwarranted spying in the lyrics "there's always someone that's watching you."

Weird Al's "Foils" video
As if the aforementioned wasn't revealing enough, Yankovic continues his conspiratorial dialogue, taking it to even more drastic heights as he references MK-Ultra mind control, the alleged fake moon landing, extraterrestrial abductions and probings, and invasive clairvoyance.

The closing shot features the character who plays the music video's director pulling off his "mask" of a human face to reveal his true reptilian form.

We at Musings for the Open-Minded are not quite sure from what angle Yankovic is approaching these subjects and what his intent is by alluding to such ideas but we certainly can all agree that he knows a great deal about various conspiracy "theories" and that his inclusion of such imagery will undoubtedly expose his fans to these concepts, hopefully encouraging active investigation into the subject matter by the viewer.

Without any further ado, here is the video for "FOIL" by "Weird Al" Yankovic:

Terminally Ill Cancer Patient And His Family Face Jail Over Growing Their Own Medical Marijuana

SCOTT COUNTY, Iowa (WQAD) — A local cancer patient and his family, whose explanation for growing and using marijuana were not allowed as evidence, were found guilty of drug charges in Scott County Court.
Benton and Loretta Mackenzie and their son, Cody, faced charges after 71 marijuana plants were seized by police in May 2013. Mackenzie admitted in testimony Tuesday, July 3, 2014, that the plants were his according to sister station WQAD.
Mackenzie claimed he grew the plants to harvest cannabis oil to treat pain he suffers from terminal cancer. Judge Henry Latham ruled Mackenzie’s reasons for growing the plants were not admissible as evidence in the trial.
A Scott County jury convicted Benton and Loretta Mackenzie each of manufacturing marijuana, conspiracy, violation of the drug tax stamp act and possession of drug paraphernalia, according to Scott County Attorney Mike Walton.
Cody Mackenzie was convicted of misdemeanor possession of marijuana and paraphernalia, Walton said.
“After the verdict, Mackenzie stipulated that he has been twice before convicted of drug felonies. In 2011 both Benton and Loretta Mackenzie were convicted of Possession with Intent to Deliver. They were on probation for those charges when charged with the current charges. In 2000 Benton Mackenzie was convicted of Possession with Intent to Deliver,” Walton said.
Mackenzie faces mandatory prison time for the conviction. Sentencing was reportedly set for August 28, 2014 at 2:30 p.m.

Dozens More Military Programs to Control Social Media Revealed

Controversial Facebook study is just tip of an iceberg
Dozens More Military Programs To Control Social Media Revealed
by STEVE WATSON | INFOWARS.COM JULY 9, 2014

In the wake of last week’s revelations that Facebook allowed researchers with direct links to the Department of Defense to conduct manipulative experiments on its users by influencing their news feeds, new reports have emerged detailing how the Pentagon is funding dozens more studies into how to influence and control social media.
Reporters with The London Guardian reveal that DARPA, the Pentagon-run Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, is engaged in multiple programs targeting Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Kickstarter and other popular social media sites.
The source is DARPA’s own website, where the shadowy research arm of the military has posted a list of projects funded under its Social Media in Strategic Communication (SMISC) program, with links to documents.
“The general goal of the Social Media in Strategic Communication (SMISC) program is to develop a new science of social networks built on an emerging technology base,” the website states.
“Through the program, DARPA seeks to develop tools to support the efforts of human operators to counter misinformation or deception campaigns with truthful information.”
Of course, what the Pentagon considers to be “truthful information” can just as easily be described as outright propaganda.
The studies, conducted by researchers at institutes such as the University of Southern California, Georgia Tech, and even within companies such as IBM, were all funded with military money.
The Guardian report notes:
While some elements of the multi-million dollar project might raise a wry smile – research has included analysis of the tweets of celebrities such as Lady Gaga and Justin Bieber, in an attempt to understand influence on Twitter – others have resulted in the buildup of massive datasets of tweets and additional types social media posts.
Within the project list is a research aimed squarely at documenting how The Occupy protest movement used Twitter for organisation, as well as research on tracking internet memes, and analysis of how so called “influence behavior” (liking, following, and retweeting) spreads information on several popular social media platforms including Pinterest, Twitter, Kickstarter, Digg and Reddit.
The report notes that DARPA spent around $19 million to fund the research, with $8.9 passing through IBM and distributed to various researchers, and a further $9.6 million going through educational institutions.
Some of the research funneled through IBM culminated in a study titled “Modeling User Attitude toward Controversial Topics in Online Social Media”. This clearly indicates that the military is interested in having the capability to influence opinion via social media.
Within that study, posted on DARPA’s website, the authors describe how their research could allow the government to use social media to encourage and mould opinions.
“For example, a government campaign on Twitter supporting vaccination can engage with followers who are more likely to take certain action (eg spreading a campaign message) based on their opinions.” the study states.
In an even more disturbing example the authors note “…when anti-government messages are spread in social media, government would want to spread counter messages to balance that effort and hence identify people who are more likely to spread such counter messages based on their opinions.”
Of course, DARPA claims there is no wrong in conducting such research. In a statement to The Guardian a DAPRA spokesperson wrote “Social media is changing the way people inform themselves, share ideas, and organize themselves into interest groups, including some that aim to harm the United States… DARPA supports academic research that seeks to understand some of these dynamics through analyses of publicly available discussions conducted on social media platforms.”
When asked why the military should be involved in funding such research, the DARPA spokesperson said that the studies are essential to US defense interests and that some people engaging in the use of social media platforms “aim to to harm the United States.”
The US government in conjunction with the military has long been concerned with studying the potential for civil unrest and how it can control, facilitate and combat it. The U.S. Army War College, in conjunction with numerous think tanks have somewhat obsessively studied the subject for years.
In recent years, the rise of social media, and its potential use for growing and organising protest movements, has spurred a new urgency within government and the military to adapt to and co-opt such tools.
The so-called “spring” revolutions of recent years have been heavily centered around the use of social media, with many even suggesting that Western government and military forces have, at least in part, controlled and even initiated unrest in other parts of the world for strategic purposes by employing social media.
Reports have recently emerged of the Military setting up fake Twitter-like social networks in countries such as Cuba, in order to manipulate and sway popular opinion there. The Military also developed so called ‘sock puppet’ software to create fake online identities and spread propaganda at home and abroad.
The government has also heavily invested in companies that monitor social media and track how opinions and information spreads on such networks.
Facebook was and is deeply connected to the NSA’s PRISM program. Via leaked information, and by the NSA’s own admission, it has been noted that Facebook not only knew about, but also cooperated with the mass spying program. The NSA even masqueraded as Facebook via fake servers, using them as a launching pad to grab information from hard drives, in order to infect millions of computers around the world with malware as part of the mass surveillance program.
The trend is clear – the government and the military have set about fully co-opting social media and turning it into a tool for social control and manipulation.

Incredible Photos of People Living Off The Grid Who Abandoned Civilization for Life in the Wilderness

Photographer Antoine Bruy not only traveled and lived with off-grid families for three years, but captured captivating photos of their Walden-esque existence.

When screeching city noises and demands from the 9-5 job become too much, most people can only dream of what quiet isolation in the rural countryside could be like. But French photographer Antoine Bruy turned that dream into a reality by hitchhiking across Europe from 2010 to 2013.
The artist wandered through remote mountain regions without any fixed destination or route in mind, but along the way met several individuals who had willingly abandoned hectic city life in exchange for retreat in the deep wilderness. These people sacrificed modern comforts for greater autonomy and freedom, and in result became inspiration to the inquisitive photographer.

In Bruy’s series Scrublands, he documented the homes and faces of the people he countered, by chance, who live far away from civilization. Living with these individuals for days to weeks at a time, Antoine helped them farm land and raise livestock while becoming educated on their self-sufficient lifestyles. Once teachers, students, and engineers, these people now rely on makeshift buildings, recovered materials, and agriculture in order to survive off-grid.

The compelling photos capture the rustic beauty and idyllic setting of people who have chosen a Walden-esque existence tucked away in secluded, wild environments. “The people and places depicted in my pictures display various fates which I think should not only be seen at a political level, but more importantly, as daily and immediate experiences,” he explains. “These are, in some ways, spontaneous responses to the societies these men and women have left behind. This documentary project is an attempt to make a kind of contemporary tale and to give back a little bit of magic to our modern civilization.”
