Man Discovers Huge Secret Dungeon Beneath His Apartment

Settling into a new home is stressful enough... but nothing could have prepared this UK man for what he 

found when he opened this trap door in the floor of his studio apartment:

The property, which contains around 30 units, was apparently the site of a 19th century monastery, and the passage beneath the door runs the length of the entire building.

“We have a dungeon,” the man commented on a gallery of his findings, recently showcased by Viral Nova. His search took him through narrow catacombs, revealed hidden hatches and passageways, and ended in a large chamber containing an altar-like platform and a freshly-dug hole. The tenant says the owners made no mention of this in the lease, which naturally made him a bit nervous.

 

“I'm debating my next move,” he concludes. “More exploration needs to be done, but it's very scary living above it alone.”
